How do I get microdata from Gallup Analytics?
Answer
The University Libraries' license with Gallup requires us to manage individual access to the microdata (individual response-level data). To start the process of requesting data, e-mail datahelp@gmu.edu. In the e-mail, indicate:
- which dataset you need,
- countries (for World Poll data),
- variables, and
- time period.
These data are only available to current George Mason faculty, students, and staff. If you don't need microdata, Gallup Analytics summary data is available through the libraries' website.

Reports must include attribution when Gallup data are included without modification or are used as a direct source of analysis.
