How do I get started with Linguistic Data Consortium?

George Mason University Libraries pays for Linguistic Data Consortium (LDC) membership. You can search the LDC catalog without needing an account. If you need to download data, you will need to create an account.
From the LDC site select Register from the top right corner of the screen or go directly to this link to create a new account: https://catalog.ldc.upenn.edu/signup
By default your account will be a Guest account. Once the account is approved it will upgraded to an Organization User account. Please allow time for account approval, usually within 1 business day.
Please be aware that George Mason does not have access to all LDC data. We have access to:
- 2014 - 2016
- 2020 - present
